LUCIEN SIMON is a Film & Theatre Director/Writer, Community Artist, songwriter, singer and musician whose work is deeply layered and process driven.

Recent highlights include:

Stripped Bare (2010 Best Film at Canberra Short Film Festival, 2011 Flickerfest & 2011 Saint Kilda Film Festival) which he Directed & Co-wrote.

The recent reformation of seminal Hobart dirty rock band DUST for two shows.

Conversations in Kingborough a documentary that Lucien wrote, produced, directed & presented which won the 2010 National & Tasmanian Local Government Awards.

Lucien currently has three feature films in development. Two of the projects, SOLACE & THE BRIDGE THAT WASN’T THERE, were developed with internationally renowned script development companty ARISTA and a third, BREEDING IN CAPTIVITY, that is being created through a unique collaborative process Lucien developed through his theatre background in devising.
